Esther really likes Buddy. Especially before he showed interest in her she used to watch him from afar. This shows she was quite infatuated with him. She really likes him for a while, but then she finds out that he is a two timing player. Well not really, but he wasn't as innocent as she thought he was. She wants him to be honest with her, so he is, then she finds out about the waitress. This makes her upset, now she wishes he was real, and not hypocritical. Now she decides to dump him. She now is single but Buddy is upset because he is now single, and got TB, which everyone thinks that she is just sad about the break up. Even though she's not. Esther now does not like buddy, quite the opposite of her first feelings for him.
